THE GROWLING DEMON NOISE – OUR EVP
Okay, so my husband and i go camping several times a year…Burney Falls in Burney, CA, a beautiful place we have both been going to since we were kids…only on this occasion it would be a trip we would never forget.
I always have this terrible fear I will lose my husband in a car accident so I always try and go with him (it’s a very long drive, about 4 hours from where we live). This trip was the day after 4th of July and we only planned on staying for about two days. We brought along with us our little girl and my husband’s little sister, as she and my daughter are inseperable. We went hiking, swimming and all that camping stuff. We all hiked to the pioneer cemetery and were taking pictures of the grave stones and were attempting to capture EVP’s on my husbands i phone. I know silly, but we love this stuff! Anyway, my husband asks if there is anyone around and if if they want us to leave. Only my little sister-in-law (13 y/o) and I thought we heard a growling noise. We weren’t very scared because we were not positive it wasn’t something in the forest, like trees or perhaps an animal. Oh, I should add that on the hike to the cemetery it was very hot and as we approached the cemetery, no joke, within a few feet there was all of a sudden a breeze now.
Anyway, we continued walking around and looking at other grave stones. All of a sudden me and my sister-in-law heard a breathing/sigh right by our ears, as if something was was walking in between her and I! We immediately turned to look at eachother and as soon as our eyes connected we started screaming and just as fast started running! My husband was about 10 feet ahead of us and my little girl about 2 feet in front of me. We all booked it back to our vehicle. As we were running to it, we saw a dirt tornado (if it dosent make sense tell me and i will try to explain it better), spinning and then it vanished into thin air. My mom used to say if you saw a tornado of dirt or fire it was a devil or witch.
Anyway, so we headed home and were talking about what we thought we had experienced. When we got home we played our supposed EVP on the stereo system and you wont believe what we heard! My husband had been recording the whole time on his phone and you can hear the breathing! (and our screaming, hee, hee). Oh, goodness, it still gives me chills! We got to talking about our entire trip and how fun it was.
Later that night my husband told me the morning before we left for the camping trip, he had woken up from a dream about a woman, who he said was attractive, light skinned and light colored eyes. She was dressed in a purple cloak with a hood. He said she had such a soothing voice but told him he was going to die. He laughed at her as she said this and that was when he woke up. I just think that is weired since I am so afraid of losing him in a car accident and that he dreamt it that same day.
what do you guys think of all this?

that was a spooky experience, especially hearing the growling and then the breathing…shivers!
I’ve never seen a dirt tornado before, but what causes them to form out of the blue like that?
I’m not really up on dreams, I hope Pitch sees this post, as she is. (You know Pitch, from my forum).
Oh goodness there was something lurking around that cemetary, I’ve never seen a dirt toranado either but I’ve seen a similiar effect in the fall time when the dead leaves blow in a circle. That was a strange dream your husband had but I wouldn’t say that its an omen, that something is going to happen to him, I think all death in dreams , tarots ect is supposed to mean change. For example if you dream that you’re drowning it’s supposed to mean that you’re feeling guilty about something. I have dreams of my brother, and he’s been dead for 16 years now!

I read on google dreams of dying means that someone in your family is going to have a baby!

This is one of those experiences where I really think something reached out and tried to touch someone! Not necessarily to cause harm………..just not hiding.
I have heard that about the dirt or fire tornadoes being demonic in nature. I would really love to hear the EVP……have always had much more faith in those than ghost pictures……right, eyepriestess? How many have we seen debunked in just the short time we’ve known each other?
I would still love Pitch’s input on the dream. She is really very good at it, seems to come so naturally. It sounds like something in that cemetery was not at rest……I believe that to be true of many pioneer cemeteries. So many had “potters fields” where the dead were carelessly laid to rest in shrouds and common graves. The turn of the century brought about the end of many of these pauper’s graves, and everyone is supposed to get a decent type burial.

Yes i agree EVP’s are more convincing than photo’s nowadays, i just don’t trust ghost pics anymore, not now we have the ability to manipulate them.
I’m going to ask Pitch if she’ll comment here on the dream, i meant to ask her yesterday, but then forgot.
I’ll go and look on the internet for a dirt tornado and then i can put it up before i have to go out for the day.

scary-my mother has told me about the dirt/fire tornados meaning some sort of evil. i felt later, after i had run like a sissy, that i shouldnt have…that i should have stopped and asked more questions or whatever but i was just sooo scared!!
i always tell myself “okay, i hope i see this or that” and then it happens and i totally freak!! LOL Were supposed to go back this Sunday so i hope i dont chicken out. We also added an application to our i-phones that supposedly detect ghosts and on the screen words come up as if the ghost is communicating with you. it sounds weired but who knows, hopefully it works. ive used it here at work and ive read some weired things on the screen!

actually i hope im not pregnant now! two reasons…1. im the maid of honor for my cousins wedding in September, so the dress NEEDS to fit me! 2. i just found out how crappy my benefits are in regards to maternity leave!! Can you believe I dont get maternity leave!!!!????
If you are pregnant then I don’t think that you’ll be showing in September. I have a wedding in October, my eldest daughter, it’s on Halloween, that’s the only date she could get for the manor they’re getting married in.
That’s not good is it with the maternity leave, it’s probably that you haven’t been working there long enough to get it. Let’s hope you’re not pregnant then…fingers crossed!
Hey EP- wow a Halloween wedding? How cool is that?! no ive been here for years but the problem is this department was created by men, and because its union, our representatives didnt think it was necessary to vote if u will, for the maternity leave. bunch of bs if u ask me.. :0 yes im pissed!! but no not pregnant…yet!

the wedding isn’t Halloween themed though, but it’s typical of my daughter to go and do something like that (there were no other dates though). When everyone was told it was on Halloween, they thought we were joking, ha! Only trouble is, paranormal sites are buzzing on Halloween and i’ll miss all that.
About your maternity, i wouldn’t just take what your employers say on that. Over here if you have been working for a company for a certain amount of time (cant remember how long as i’ve mainly always worked for myself, so never had to worry about maternity) then you are entitled by law. Don’t know the USA laws on it, but i’d check over the internet and if you get no satisfactory info, then ring your tax office. Hey listen at us, we don’t even know if you are pregnant
a halloween theme would be kinda cute…it would definately not be so traditional.
so far with the research ive done on the maternity thing, theres nothing i can do. i know im not even preg. yet but i can help but plan ahead! i want to be prepared this time as with my first i was just a kid (in my eyes) i was too young and dumb to care about anything like work, nutrition, etc.
Same here with my first, i was only 18 yrs old, was just a kid still too. That’s great to plan ahead, don’t forget the folic acid!
yup, been taking the pre natal with the folic acid. Also forcing myself to eat yams ( i want twins, i hear that helps women hyperovulate) also lots of dairy and ive been looking for cassava root, havent had any luck in my area, not even at whole food stores. I will keep u posted!

wow Rebecca, how sweet, me too I hope it works out for you! I’ve got 2 of them a girl and a boy, they’re 2 years apart, and they are going to be very close later in life, they play together and it”s better than being an only child, that folic acid if very important, and also drink alot of orange juice The laws in the US are strange, here in France our health care is reimboursed it’s kind of the same system that they have in Canada. Well, you take care there, and let us know, we can decide on baby names! I didn’t get to name my kids what I wanted, cause my husband is Italian and they had to have Italian names, I wanted to name my daughter Emily, but instead she’s Ornella and my son I wanted to name Lazarus (Jesus’ friend in the Bible) but he got named Dino Alessandro! oh well maybe next time ha ha (just kidding)

you’re absolutly right there what are they thinking? They just don’t understand the concept of the festival! They do have some nice vineyards in this region we could go to! Got to love you Patsy, what would I do without you?
Those vineyards would be dry if we visited wouldn’t they Eddie, coz we don’t believe in spitting the wine into the bucket…that’s downright disgusting behaviour!!!

I had a very unusual dream recently. I’ve recently come off witchcraft. I dreamed I was somewhere (some dream dimension, I guess) sitting on the ground and talking with a group of people in pleasant conversation. Suddenly I started being rocked back and forth forwards and back and got yanked up EXTREMELY high into the air, flying/being flown. I looked down at the ground and for some reason I remember thinking “well, I’m not going to get down this time” (what in the world did that mean?). But at a certain place on the terrain I was looking down and there was this thing that looked like some kind of animal pen. But inside were incredibly huge, grotesque, slimy white creatures that looked like stingrays, crawling over each other and making unimaginable growls and noises. I can’t even recreate/re-imagine what I dreamed I heard from them. I remember “hearing” and or feeling a feeling saying “look what you nearly got attacked by. You’re nearly out of the woods.” Was that my consciousness or was that You Know Who telling me/showing me the real picture of entities I thought I was “dealing with” but which in fact I was really falling prey to? God and His power/intervention are enough for me now. If anyone reading this ever wants to get into witchcraft/magic to control someone else/make things happen, don’t do it. You get into something you don’t realize. Most people I guess realize they’re over their heads when it’s too late. Please heed this warning.
