The Dangers Of Ouija Boards
14/12/2008 by: eyepriestessTHE DANGERS OF OUIJA BOARDS
One of the world’s greatest paranormal mysteries… how can a board enable communication with spirits? and what are the Ouija board’s dangers?
In 1977 I took part in a Ouija board seance and without doubt had contact with something, which turned out to be very evil.
I researched this so called game for many years after my experience and I would like to share with you, ‘Ouija board dangers’ and what you could be potentially up against, if you decide that the temptation to dabble with a Ouija is too great!
BUT FIRST – HOW DOES THE OUIJA BOARD WORK?
The Ouija board was invented in America with a device called, a ‘planchette’ – meaning ‘little plank’.
If you look at the above picture, the board is almost heart shaped and the planchette moves around this. At the time of its making there were two castor’s underneath the planchette, which rotated once a pencil was placed at the tip.
Annoyingly for the players, the messages were often difficult to comprehend and were very time consuming. Because of this, a whole host of different types of communication were being developed, but without much success at that time.
E.C Reich – a carpenter from the USA, then developed a lap top wooden board. He carved out the alphabet in a curve around the top of the board and then created another straight line underneath, with the numerals o-9 engraved. Reiche etched the words ‘Yes’ and ‘No’ in each bottom corner. He then replaced the pencil with an extra coaster, which gave the board more definition to the bottom of the heart shape. This then acted as the pointer as the planchette moved to each letter. (NB: some boards nowadays have the ‘yes’ and ‘no’ at the top)
The plancehtette’s ease of movement and communication resulted in a major breakthrough with spiritual contact.
Great potential was envisaged for this product when Reiche then sold his business to two of his friends called, Charles Kennard and William Maupin, who began marketing the Ouija board in 1886.
In 1892 William Fuld took over the business development and subsequently changed the name to ‘Ouija Novelty Co’.
The Ouija board took off to such an extent with Fuld’s (and later his brother’s input), that it remained successful for the next 35 years. By 1920 it was believed to have made over £1m profit and was also credited as being William Fuld’s invention…a claim Fuld quite rightly denied.
Remarkably, in 1927 it was reported that Fuld committed suicide (aged 57 years old) by jumping off the Baltimore building (where his factory was based). This then gave the Ouija board an even more sinister appeal. However, other accounts stated that Fuld had fallen from the building whilst leaning against a railing, which subsequently gave way and led to his death.
Whatever the reason for Fuld’s death, the business was immediately taken over by his children, Catherine and William A. Fuld who continuted to market this phenomenum until ‘Parker Bros’ took over in 1942.
Spirit communication similar to the Ouija has been used for centuries, even before the time of Christ. Its popularity is almost certainly due to the high and regular success rate with spirit communication.
However, people who use Ouija boards, or conduct séances without protection are ultimately sitting targets for psychic attacks, with a huge risk of attracting dangerous - ‘non-human’ energies, such as demons. It is believed that a demon’s ultimate goal is to free itself from its miserable existence and to enter into ours - through any means possible.
A Ouija board acts like a beacon of light, which reaches astral dimensions - once a game is in progress. This then becomes a portal of access for anything to come ‘unintentionally’ invited into our existence. Once in, this energy will attach itself to the most vulnerable person playing the game…usually the most naive to the Ouija’s capabilities.
The Ouija board is one of the most dangerous occult games to ‘play’ and has caused many people to encounter horrendous paranormal occurrences. I was lucky enough to escape with just the terrible memory of my experience, which will remain etched in my unforgiving conscious for the rest of my life.
MY STORY – OUIJA BOARD DANGERS
The winter weekend began where my colleague – Jen and I had been commissioned to Southampton, UK. A location Jen and I had never visited before…but a special place we would never forget.
The hotel was huge, very old and a bit too spooky, but we settled in and unloaded our luggage before going out for a meal.
On our return to the hotel, my husband fell asleep very quickly. However, I was in no mood for sleep, so I slunk from our room and knocked on Jen’s door opposite ours.
I was pleased she was still awake and we made our way down to the hotel bar in the hope it was still open.
We were very happy to see two staff drinking after finishing their shifts, so we asked if we could have a drink. They said we could and to join them at their table.
We sat beside a huge open fire place and listened as the staff were arguing about whether or not the hotel was haunted. Jen jokingly suggested they hold a séance.
They agreed and said there was a Scrabble set behind the bar we could use for the letters.
The barman, who I shall call Mark (but cannot remember his name), set out the letters in a circle shape, then he positioned the words YES and NO either side of an upturned wine glass. The four of us then placed a finger on it and began our game.
Mark asked the usual “Is anybody there?”
Nothing happened for a while, but then I began to experience a strange sensation. (It is very difficult to describe, but I will do my best). It was as if a haze surrounded us…not a visible haze, just the feeling of one. This is when I suspected something was about to happen.
Then the glass began to circle the inside ring of letters, with only the very tips of our fingers touching it.
“Who are you?” I asked. The glass then moved with an eerie ease, as it spelled out the name…’****** ******’. (Sorry name obscured in respect of privacy)
The other barman who I shall call Geoff, accused Mark of moving it, which made him cross, so he got up from the table and walked to the bar.
Geoff took his finger off the glass and sat back from the game. I asked whatever was in the glass to prove it was really working, and it immediately spelt out a word:
GOSS
Geoff said, “That’s… my surname.” Then he pointed to the glass again. “Look! It’s spelling out my name – AGAIN!”
I had never felt this frightened in all my life. Then (I don’t know what made me ask this) I said, “Is there a God?”
The glass set off again, this time almost gliding as it formed a figure of eight shape over and over again. Then it seemed to become annoyed and began crashing into the letters – sending them to the floor.
We all stood up and looked at one another. I have never seen such frightened faces in all my life. This is when we parted company, but it didn’t stop there…
Some time later (I can’t really remember how long), something occurred that I can only put down to messing with the Ouija.
I felt restless on this particular evening and stayed up quite late into the early hours of the morning. Eventually I decided to take myself off to bed. On entering the bedroom, I bent over the bed to climb in when suddenly something struck me hard in the back. I sensed instantly the strike was not from a human and I lay wheezing and unable to scream. I just waited. I then began raising myself up — it hit again. Much harder this time.
I sensed pure evil surrounding me. I slowly turned my head to face whatever it was. But too late — it hit me again in the back… striking me harder and deeper…it felt like it was inside me now. I could hardly breathe and I now realised I was being possessed…or even about to die.
“Please, God, help me!’ I said in my mind as I began raising myself up again. Immediately I felt what can only be described as a pulling sensation and then I fell onto the bed…’it’ had gone.
A presence of good seemed to fill the room for around a minute and I knew without any doubt that my prayer had saved me. All fear left me and as I lay there. I thought about the question I asked during the seance… “Is there a God?”… I had been given the answer and I have never stopped believing in God since!
New Testament: Matt 12:43-45: “When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.”
NB. The name ‘GOSS’ is the real surname of the person above, as he is probably still alive and hopefully will see this post and contact me. We have not met since that night in the hotel, but I hope he will recognise this story one day.

All throughout scripture God condemns those who use “familiar spirits”. It is an abomination to the Lord.
Its like praying and asking the Lord to protect you from getting shot at by the cashier/clerk after you enter a convenience store to rob it.
JMO.
Hi Liderien,
I don’t think anyone can answer these questions with absolute certainty.
I also think that it’s better to leave the O-boards alone, but people’s curiosity gets the better of them. Look at how many people have regretted messing around with them on Trueghosttales…. so many stories. If i’d have read these before i messed around with an O-board, i would have stayed away from them.
I believe it is an abomination to God, once you believe in him, but before this, people do not really know any better.
What does JMO mean by the way?
….to add to the above message, there are a whole heap of stories about spirits who don’t know they have died.
One I vaguely remember, was about a young woman who died in a car crash as she was sleeping. Many people witnessed her ghost along the road she died, even the sheriff.
She eventually stopped haunting the area after she realised she was actually dead and prayers were said for her.
Lance contacted many spirits who either refused to believe they were dead, or who didn’t realise.
Imagine going to sleep with all the thoughts of what you need to do the next day… then you die unexpectadly.
TO READERS: THE ABOVE COMMENTS MAY SEEM CONFUSING. THIS IS BECAUSE THIS PARTICULAR DEBATE WAS CARRIED ON FROM MY BLOG IN TRUEGHOSTTALES.COM, (WHICH IS NO LONGER THERE AS A BLOG, BUT NOW AS A LINK TO THIS SITE). APOLOGIES FOR THIS, BUT IT IS ONLY IN THIS SECTION.
JMO=Just My Opinion.
That is very interesting, There must be an explanation to the spirits that people see. I for one lean towards energies left behind, but I cannot test this theory for the simple fact that I have never seen a “ghost”. I have only felt evil spirits.
As far as prayer before an encounter…God will not hear it. He cannot go against His own word, whether you know better or not. Read Acts chapter 19. If you are a non-believer or just don’t know the Lord, He will not hear that either. Its a lose-lose situation. That is why I say never. God does not protect and He does not hear. Its in the Word. These type of activities are strictly forbidden by Him.
Well, either Lance is telling the truth or he is a liar. That judgement has yet to be determined. I am doing further study on the subject to decide for myself. But until then, I just can’t bring myself to believe that the souls that God purchased with His own blood are roaming, it is not logical.
Thanks for the dialog…
Liderien
Liderien,
We are forgiven though are we not?
When you say you’re doing further study on the subject…is it just general research?
Are we forgiven?
I dont know about anyone else…I don’t live in their shoes.
Looking at it from a logical stand point, it is like working your butt off for 20 years to earn enough money to buy a house and then after you buy the house, letting it sit and never entering it. It just doesn’t make sense.
My study would be scientific in nature.
To prove or disprove these “stories” would not happen in a book full of them.
I have read a gazillion stories on hapenings. I need studies.
If you ask for forgiveness, then you are forgiven, this is well known, if you are genuinely sorry.
The way to salvation has been debated for thousands of years. All we really have to go by it the Word of God which is interpreted differently by those who read it. The Bible states (In Christ’s words):
John 3
1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
All throughout the Book of Acts the disciples baptized many in the name of Jesus. It must have been important to be baptized, as it was commanded of the Lord. As well as the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2, the day of Pentecost when the spirit was poured out with evidence of speaking in other tongues (a language you have not learned but divinely given of God). I believe that this is the water and spirit that Christ is referring to in John, baptism and the infilling of the Holy Ghost (or Spirit as many like to refer to)
Also because you asked for forgivness (which is needful in our everyday life) does not guarantee salvation:
Matthew 7
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
I take this to mean that we all need to have a relationship with Him. That is why I say I cannot rightfully say because you ask for forgiveness you are saved. But this is my interpretation and my opinion. If others disagree, they have that right to live their life the way they see fit. I am not their judge. I just have to do what I feel is right.
Liderien,
I will have to go back to studying the new testament again before I can comment on the above in more depth.
Did you know there was much talk of some kind of cover up with the Vatican over another testament which was found written by Jesus. I cannot remember the source, but i’m sure you could find something about this over the internet.
I do not know how true this is, but the Vatican are loathe to let this new find be made public, mainly because it apparently promotes Jesus’s encouragement of prayer anywhere, not just behind the churches walls.
I want to look into this in more detail soon, if i can find the time.
Are you Catholic? I know the Pope is more followed in the UK than in America, so I was just wondering
Liderien
Sorry it’s taken so long to respond, been without internet for about 4 days as my phone line was out until today.
No, i’m not Catholic…I just believe and that’s it!
I was just wondering, so that I might not sy anything that would be offensive as I dont believe that the Catholic church or the Pope leads people anywhere but astray.
I completely agree with you there…
Be right back, phone call
It is nothing more than a money making game. Things are kept hidden from the public in the Vatican. There is even mention of Jesus’ testament being locked away for years as it talks of the hypocrices in the churches.
I also believe that the reference in the Bible that is made in Revelations calls this church “The Great Whore”. I do not have specific proof of that, it is just my opinion. But you can read in the Gospels where Jesus warns us agaianst those who tells us to “forbid to marry”, “abstain from meats”; Jesus also said to call no man father, which is the Catholics practice that the priests be called father. I find it rather ironic. And worse yet, they discourage their congregations from even reading the Bible.
They were the ones that began the baptism by sprinkling, using the Titles (Father, Son, Holy Ghost) instead of Jesus name…the list goes on. The very word baptism means to immerse or to bury. And to leave Christ crucified on the cross is the biggest travesty of all. For you see, the entire purpose that Christ shed his blood was to redeem man back to himself, so after death he took the keys to death, hell, and the grave. Then he rose again, this is the victory of Christ. To leave Him on the Cross like the Catholics use in their idols, is to leave him without the purpose or the power to redeem man, it is to me a jab from the Devil. Of course when we are talking religion I realize that many can get bent out of shape. These are my beliefs and if anyone differs, I do beg your pardon.
Liderien
How you describe the people in this religion is how I imagine people who wrote parts of the old testament to be.
To take your quote from above, “were the ones that began the baptism by sprinkling, using the Titles (Father, Son, Holy Ghost) instead of Jesus name…the list goes on. The very word baptism means to immerse or to bury”…
I thought you believed in the Trinity Liderien? How did Jesus baptize before he died? He must have used the term ‘Father’, rather than in his name?
I certainly don’t agree with taking God’s name (Father) and giving it to the priests. I was wondering where it says that Jesus said, call no man Father, if you don’t mind looking it up. Don’t worry you can’t recall it to hand. Can’t remember reading that, but it was a few years ago when I seriously read the New Testament.
hey, what happened to the older sections :S
Mark,
I accidentally deleted the bar code post, but i will put it back up when i have re-written it.
In a previous conversation that we had on Jeremy’s blogs, we had a brief discussion of the oneness to Christ and God. I am by no means trinitarian. I believe in the duties or representations of the One true God in Jesus and the Holy Ghost, but I believe that these are all one. Much like that of an individual such as myself who is a mother, a sister, and a daughter; yet my name is “Liderien”. I serve three functions and none of them are the same, my role as a mother does not fit in my role as a sister or daughter. If you look all throughout the new testament, especially in the book of Acts, they never baptized in the titles “Father, Son, Holy Ghost.” During that period they understood the revelation that there was only one God, they understood the purpose of Christ. Jesus being the Father in flesh. To use the name is to understand that only that name had the power to wash sin away, as his flesh (sinless blood) was the sacrificial lamb to erase our sins, therefore the power is in his name. Which is why it is through that name that we find communion with God, not through other beings such as an Angel or Saint. Because without the removal of sin, God can not commune with us. He cannot be where sin abides, but through the blood of Christ he is able to redeem man into communion again.
I would be what you consider an Apostolic Monotheist. Though not fully indoctrinated in that concept. I also believe that it is not for me to pick and choose what I want to in the Bible. Either I will follow it completely, or not at all. I have done enough study in the word to know that there are to many “coincidences” to say that it is not infallible. I believe it with my whole heart.
Liderien
Hi Liderien, I don’t want to say much more on this really as it is all very personal to you. I can see that your beliefs are very dear to you and I respect that enough to let this end.
One true way to get people’s backs up is to argue about religion. One believe’s one way is right and the other another.
The main reason I started this discussion was Alpha wasn’t being heard, in that he has had results after praying to Saints and Angels. I just think that we should take each individuals theories and experiences on board.
Great to see you back,
Matthew 23:9:
9And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
1 Timothy 4:
1Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
3Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
Just in case you ask about the other two I mentioned.
Just being lighthearted for a moment. When i first started believing in God I did actually give up eating meat as i read something in Exodus and thought…heck!! I shouldn’t be eating meats from animals with cloven hooves.
But i changed and now eat it with a vengeance, sometimes going at it like a carnivore as i love it so much!!
lol, thats great!
I think there is so much confusion in the world about the Bible and its commandments, especially with the differences between the old testament and the new. Further study will help to eleviate the confusion, though it take time and commitment. And it takes years to fully understand.
I welcome Alpha and all he has to say!
Liderien
Liderien,
Alpha always deals with everything with good grace, no matter what… never is offensive and sticks to his belief’s. Like you do.
This is some very good information you have here. I hope that many people will read this before getting involved with the Ouija board.
Too many, especially, the younger ones, are tempted to mess with this because they think it is cool or neat. It is very important that they learn about all the bad parts (the truth) before they become entangled with this and all the negativity it can bring into their lives.
I applaud your efforts here and if it helps just one person out there to avoid this then it is well worth it.
Ghost Hunter,
messing around with the Ouija board is so dangerous in naive hands – it can possibly cause dissruption and danger to a whole family unit as well as the person who played with it.
As you said, if this helps just one person, it’s worth the post!
I have read this article and look forward to you submitting your story now.
cool article! my friends wanted to mess with an O board but i didn’t want to..thank god they decided not to use one!
Kat,
you did right. I will be submitting the rest of my story as soon as i’m satisfied with the editing. You will then see why I’m against the O-boards.
There is that common sense thing that people must pick up on when the word Oujia is even mentioned it just isnt practical!
Don’t hold back on your contributions this is a free to speak site you know!
Hi Handsome Harry,
yes, it really is a free to speak site!!
Please post your story soon as i am anxious to know why you are so against it – something really bad must have happened…. I’m logging on every day to read it so hurry up!!
Jilly,
I will be posting the rest within the next 48 hours.
Oh wow i can’t believe what happened to you. I have never been brave enough to play this so called game they call ouija and i will make sure i never do after hearing your story. Hopefully you have been left in peace after that…. i am not surprised it has made you believe in God – it seems the bad left you immediately you said your prayer – thankfully you thought of doing that…
Jilly,
all I can say, is the fear of the experience never leaves you and you do think it could happen again.
Thanks for commenting on this story.
OMG, that was so scary, I hope your alright now. Are you?
Laura,
yeah, fine hun.
I am ethralled by your story and cannot wait to hear more. One thing I do know is that I have no intention of playing the Ouija Board. It must be so scary?
Dazzer,
it’s very scarey if you get the wrong results and is not worth the risks.
Every time I read one of these true experience stories dealing with a Ouija board I always see trouble and misfortune going with it. Even though you see some people (not here) writing that they are OK if used properly etc you never really hear about anyone having a good experience with one of these things.
Crazy Hillbilly,
i agree with you…people try and justify the O-board, but you mainly start to see that in the end, this method of communicaton usually goes sour for them eventually.
What a scary thing to go through!! No wonder you don’t want to touch the ouija board again.. I don’t blame you one bit hun!!
I used a ouija board once in my life.. years ago when I was young.. around 9 or 10 years old.
Me and my best friend were in her bedroom one night.. I was staying overnite and she said that she had found her sisters ouija board and wanted me to ”play” it with her..just for fun and to see if it would work for us..so I agreed.
It was just the two of us. We sit on the floor and started playing. Neither one of us knew much about it or the rules.. But for us..nothing happened. It didn’t move or anything. That was a long time ago and although we had ”played around” with the board and nothing came of it.. today, I wouldn’t touch one with a ten foot pole!
I have never had a paranormal experience in my life..nor do I know of anyone personally that has,..BUT..
That doesn’t mean that I don’t believe in it! I know that there are things in this life that we can’t explain and just because I personally have never witnessed ”it”..that it doesn’t exist..
I know that there’s more out there than we can see.. for those of us that isn’t gifted with the sixth sense..JMO
Thanks to everyone for sharing their stories and thoughts! Mama’s chick
Hi Mama’s chick
it’s great that you keep an open mind, even though you haven’t experienced anything.
I hope you don’t mind me asking, but what makes you such a believer, when nothing has ever happened to you?
Hi hun,
The reason I believe is because I believe in god and the devil and angels and demons..I believe that there’s good and evil and all the forces that surrounds it..
There’s just too much out there not to believe and for me to say that it doesn’t exist is naive.. because no matter how one looks at it..there has to be more than meets the eye.
I astral travel.. have ever since I was a child but then didn’t understand it or even know what it was or even that there was a name for it.. I just thought I was having a wonderful drean about flying..lol. But only just realizing not so long ago that there was more to it than just dreaming.. I have embraced it cause I love the feeling of being free..To know that one can leave their physical body while sleeping and travel anywhere I desire is amazing..
A few nights ago I did something I have never done before while AT.. I looked at myself while I was out.. I wanted to know that it was in fact real and that it wasn’t a dream..and when I saw myself laying in bed next to my husband was the proof I needed..
I know that not everyone shares my views or even believes them..and I respect that wholeheartedly..for we all have the right to feel whatever way we choose..for it would be a very boring world if we all felt and believed the same way. JMO
Love Mama’s chick
Mama’s chick,
I have also experienced Astral Travel briefly, which I self induced through meditation. I was very surprised how easy this was to do.
I was laid on my back on the bed, when I carried out the instruction I had read. I imagined my body as a lead weight and then kept that thought. Then I visualised feathers floating from my body and upwards.
After a while, I felt a pins and needle sensation around my body and although my eyes were shut, as I began to rise, I could see the room, which had a purpley hue.
I remember thinking as I was rising…my thoughts have now left the physical body on the bed and I’m thinking with my soul (or whatever else you like to call it).
I slowly rose towards the light bulb and then I began to panic as I reached the ceiling – I didn’t want to enter the loft space above my bedroom. As soon as I panicked, I was back in my body, but I couldn’t move for about 5 seconds after my soul entered back into my body.
I was so excited that these 5 secs seemed like for ever…I just wanted to tear downstairs and tell my husband it had worked.
(I’m going to submit this section, in case I get cut off. I’ll carry below)…
…I discussed somehow trying to prove that this could happen and we hatched a plan for me to AT again the following evening. My husband was going to write something down as I astrally traveled out of my bedroom, down the stairs and then read what he had written. I was sure I would be able to do this and went to bed that evening thinkin about it and still feeling very excited that I had managed to astral travel.
As the morning approached, I was still asleep and dreaming about AT – when I saw myself asleep in my bed (in my dream). There was an old woman sat at the side of my head and looking down at me. Then all of a sudden, I dreamt I awoke and looked up to see her. She had an ivory coloured, croched headscarf on, which fell about her face, but I could still see her eyes. They were very dark and scowling. She then said something like, ‘I can’t wait for tomorrow tonight’…(a bit strange, because it was that evening i’d planned to AT, not ‘tomorrow night’).
I woke up straight away and felt immediately, that this woman (or evil spirit, whatever she was) was going to be there and get me if I astrally travelled. So my AT experiences ended there, which is a shame because I would have loved to carry on and experience what you have.
I could never do it again as I really can’t get her out of my head and this is going back over 11 yrs ago, just after I had my first paranormal experience with the O-board.
To say initially Mama’s chick, you haven’t experienced anything, I think you really have in your AT’s. It’s great to experience it, as have over 25% of the American student population.
The one thing you do get from AT, is proof of a soul. You and others who experience this are very lucky.
I knew when I messed with the O-board, there was an afterlife…then moreso during the AT…
Anyway, must go, thanks for answering the question
I can only imagine how scary that must of been for you hun.. seeing that spirit woman sitting there while you were astral traveling..
I have never experienced any negative spirits or even had a bad encounter while out.. so I am very lucky.. But I think if I did.. I love it so much to astral travel and the feeling of it.. I wouldn’t allow anything to stop me..
I think you should try it again but first get rid of the fear of thinking that something is going to happen or something is going to be there when you exist your body..cause as you said.. as soon as you saw her you got scared and returned immediately to your body.. Anytime we feel anything but peace and calm.. we automatically return to ourself..so you are perfectly safe hun..
I know it’s easier said than done but to allow it to stop you from experiencing AT.. is denying yourself a wonderful experience.. and one which you can discover so much about yourself.
Love Mama’s chick
Hi Mama’s chick,
i think it was a dream, (the bit about the old woman, not the time i induced the AT, which was definately real) but it was very, very vivid and maybe was carried on from my astral experience…who knows.
Do you know what your experiences reminded me of today… one of my favourite films called, ‘What Dreams May Come’ (hope I have the title right), with Robbin Williams. It was on Sky drama today!
If you’ve never seen it, it was the scene where he flew after realising he was in the afterlife. This is similar to how i’ve flown when vividly dreaming, only I start with a breast stroke motion and it seems to take forever to get in the air, but then it happens…but only very briefly.
Could you tell us how it happens with you?
This is really something i’m interested in.
Thank you
I’m going to create a new post (thread) called, ‘Astral Travel’.
