ANCIENT MYSTERIES OF UFOs (Painting above, by Andrew Searle) The first widely reported case of a UFO sighting occurred on June 24, 1947. Kenneth Arnold, a private pilot, was flying near Mount Ranier, Washington when he saw a series of bright flashing lights. As the nine UFOs quickly passed in front of the plane, Arnold saw dark, circular, disk shaped objects. (more…)
