Ouija Boards – Petition
Ouija boards are sold in ‘toy’ stores worldwide…did you know?
The film, ‘The Exorcist’ was based on truth and began with the main character ‘Regan’ messing around with a Ouija board. This film was based on the real life events of a boy named, Roland Doe whose ouija board games caused turmoil for his family and the Jesuit Priests.
There are so many scary stories of people and especially children who have dabbled with Ouija boards.

We will print and take this petition to toy stores who buy ouija boards and hopefully when we have a substantial amount of protesters, we can convince toy stores to ban them.

I believe the reason that my husband Chris had his right hand severed at the wrist was because of my daughter Julie using an Oiuja Board.
My daughter Julie was 21 at the time and had been using Ouija Boards. She stated they had been having orgies, doing crack and everything else that night.
They brought out the Ouija and did the usual thing. They wanted to summon something.
Julie never told me what was exactly said or done. But after my husband lost his right hand at work, she broke down and said it was because she used the board and told the spirit who contacted them that she did not like her stepfather Chris.
Count me in too, they should all be burned! You’re right, they’re not toys….
I agree, these are not toys. If they are going to be sold they should be age restricted and come with strict instructions. If they must be sold the buyer should be fully aware of what they’re getting themselves in to, and be old enough to be considered a consenting adult.
I don’t think that a toy store is an appropriate place to sell Ouija boards. I’ve seen them at the toy store too, it’s made by either Milton Bradley or Parker Bros. I don’t remember which though. Honestly, I believe that seeing the MB logo on a Ouija board makes a mockery of it. It’s kind of like a false representation, it looks just like a board game. In other words, my initial response would be to think that it is a toy instead of a serious occult communication device. I’ve never really had much interest in Ouija boards and after reading some of the stories that I’ve read on line, I doubt I’ll ever be inclined to mess with one. It’s not something that should be mass produced and packaged up like a board game. It’s very deceptive.
Just my thoughts.

Heyy,
Yes i agree, Ouiji boards are deffinately NOT toys.
Allthough may i add shops in england do not sell ouiji boards to any persons under the age 18+
and i’ve never seen them sold in Toy Shops. Any persons concidering buying one should be fully aware of the consequences and instructions before using it.
I believe Ouija Boards are well known to those beings not in our world. However, I think the attention players give the board attracts those beings, which typically appear harmless, but ultimately prove to be evil. Would we give poisonous snakes to our children to play with? I wonder what the odds are that they would be bitten? It is time to take Ouija Boards out of the toy stores, and apply an age restriction…, kind of like what we do with the movies.
I agree with this petition, and I will be with anyone who will try and ban Ouiji boards from toy stores. I don’t think anyone but professionals should use them. “Raven” is not my real name, I would like to be known under a psuedonym(sp?) thank you. Hope this goes well! Blessed be!
I agree also, that they should be banned, it is NOT a toy!
i agree that ouija boards should’nt be sold in toy stores or anywhere for that matter.
No they should NEVER be sold in Toy Stores!!!
I believe that no one should use ouija boards.Get rid of them!!!!
It is absolutly rediculous to sell ouija boards in toy stores saying the the recommended ages are from 8-14. RUBBISH! If sold i agree that they should be age restricted and stocked in a store that has related items, not toy r us. Count me in on this petition.
I agree, they shouldn’t be sold in toy stores anymore. The board actually comes with a warning and explains what could happen to you while using it.
If anything parents should know better then to let there children play with that thing, it’s not a toy and shouldn’t be treated like one.
Those things are bad luck and nothing good ever comes from them.
If I had a kid, I wouldn’t let them mess with that thing no matter how much they begged / pleaded or even got upset with me. That thing will never see the light of day in my house. Or at all for that matter.
I messed with one a while back and was lucky enough that nothing serious happened.
Ban them? They should ban them from MAKING THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE! Too many lives are destroyed due to people not having enough knowledge to stay away from these things thinking it’s only a game. Get them banned, please! I’ve never been stupid enough to use one and never will.
Ban them. Absolutely. Ouija boards are nothing but a portal to darkness. Evil likes to trick and play games, get u to trust and then once it has your trust then u are in need of help. What a shame that the boards are being created and sold. at all. I have my own experiance that led me to becomming almost obsessed with the board when I was maybe 12 or 13. it was as if something came over me,I became thirsty for it. one night I had a “break” – feeling as though my soul was in jeapordy. A lot of what happened 2 me was internal and I did lose touch with reality at times. But I kept saying the lords prayer over and over, crying my heart out for god to save me and protect me. I felt as tho I went through a battle. Very strange. Since that night, I feel protected by God but parts of me wonder and am afraid that something is lingering.
Ouija boards need to be banned. Children should not play with dark arts. Its truely terrifying. If a spirit or ghost of God wants 2 contact you, God will make it so. You don’t need to seek it out because u will seek out the wrong thing. Trust me. Millions of people can’t be wrong.
BAN OUIJA BOARDS – THEY ARE EVIL!
Selling a Ouija in a toy store is like handing a child a Satanic Bible. Ban them. Not just from toy stores, but from being sold anywhere. One of these instruments can be used to open up a portal from hell to our world, allowing demons to enter through. Sorry, but if I ever have children (I’m only 20), I certainly don’t want their demon best friends coming over for dinner. BAN THEM.
Just at this point, i’d like to thank all of you for adding your comments. You are great!!!
YES WE NEED TO BAN THEM THEIR NOT SAFE!!
yeah ban them… or as someone said restrict them… like cigarettes i suppose…government health warning… but preferably ban… though… i suppose always someone will be able to find one or make them…. but they definetly should not be sold to children as toys…!!!!!!!
I recently stumbled across some articles about ouija boards and I couldn’t stop reading about them. It really terrified me about what I read. One is even featured on the movie Pranormal Activity and no good came from that. When I heard that they were selling them in toy stores I refused to believe something so ridiculious. So, I went to the Toys-R-Us website and searched it. I was shocked when it showed a glow in the dark ouija board that includes 72 fun questions for only $20. Wow, all you need to ruin your life is $20 and Toys-R-Us. I pray to God that these horrible things are banned. I have never used one and never will (I’m 14).
