Ouija Boards – Petition
Ouija boards are sold in ‘toy’ stores worldwide…did you know?
The film, ‘The Exorcist’ was based on truth and began with the main character ‘Regan’ messing around with a Ouija board. This film was based on the real life events of a boy named, Roland Doe whose ouija board games caused turmoil for his family and the Jesuit Priests.
There are so many scary stories of people and especially children who have dabbled with Ouija boards.
Please add your signature (or comment) in our petition below:
We will print and take this petition to toy stores who buy ouija boards and hopefully when we have a substantial amount of protesters, we can convince toy stores to ban them.

I believe the reason that my husband Chris had his right hand severed at the wrist was because of my daughter Julie using an Oiuja Board.
My daughter Julie was 21 at the time and had been using Ouija Boards. She stated they had been having orgies, doing crack and everything else that night.
They brought out the Ouija and did the usual thing. They wanted to summon something.
Julie never told me what was exactly said or done. But after my husband lost his right hand at work, she broke down and said it was because she used the board and told the spirit who contacted them that she did not like her stepfather Chris.
Count me in too, they should all be burned! You’re right, they’re not toys….
I agree, these are not toys. If they are going to be sold they should be age restricted and come with strict instructions. If they must be sold the buyer should be fully aware of what they’re getting themselves in to, and be old enough to be considered a consenting adult.
I don’t think that a toy store is an appropriate place to sell Ouija boards. I’ve seen them at the toy store too, it’s made by either Milton Bradley or Parker Bros. I don’t remember which though. Honestly, I believe that seeing the MB logo on a Ouija board makes a mockery of it. It’s kind of like a false representation, it looks just like a board game. In other words, my initial response would be to think that it is a toy instead of a serious occult communication device. I’ve never really had much interest in Ouija boards and after reading some of the stories that I’ve read on line, I doubt I’ll ever be inclined to mess with one. It’s not something that should be mass produced and packaged up like a board game. It’s very deceptive.
Just my thoughts.

Heyy,
Yes i agree, Ouiji boards are deffinately NOT toys.
Allthough may i add shops in england do not sell ouiji boards to any persons under the age 18+
and i’ve never seen them sold in Toy Shops. Any persons concidering buying one should be fully aware of the consequences and instructions before using it.
I believe Ouija Boards are well known to those beings not in our world. However, I think the attention players give the board attracts those beings, which typically appear harmless, but ultimately prove to be evil. Would we give poisonous snakes to our children to play with? I wonder what the odds are that they would be bitten? It is time to take Ouija Boards out of the toy stores, and apply an age restriction…, kind of like what we do with the movies.
I agree with this petition, and I will be with anyone who will try and ban Ouiji boards from toy stores. I don’t think anyone but professionals should use them. “Raven” is not my real name, I would like to be known under a psuedonym(sp?) thank you. Hope this goes well! Blessed be!
I agree also, that they should be banned, it is NOT a toy!
i agree that ouija boards should’nt be sold in toy stores or anywhere for that matter.
No they should NEVER be sold in Toy Stores!!!
I believe that no one should use ouija boards.Get rid of them!!!!
It is absolutly rediculous to sell ouija boards in toy stores saying the the recommended ages are from 8-14. RUBBISH! If sold i agree that they should be age restricted and stocked in a store that has related items, not toy r us. Count me in on this petition.
I agree, they shouldn’t be sold in toy stores anymore. The board actually comes with a warning and explains what could happen to you while using it.
If anything parents should know better then to let there children play with that thing, it’s not a toy and shouldn’t be treated like one.
Those things are bad luck and nothing good ever comes from them.
If I had a kid, I wouldn’t let them mess with that thing no matter how much they begged / pleaded or even got upset with me. That thing will never see the light of day in my house. Or at all for that matter.
I messed with one a while back and was lucky enough that nothing serious happened.
Ban them? They should ban them from MAKING THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE! Too many lives are destroyed due to people not having enough knowledge to stay away from these things thinking it’s only a game. Get them banned, please! I’ve never been stupid enough to use one and never will.
Ban them. Absolutely. Ouija boards are nothing but a portal to darkness. Evil likes to trick and play games, get u to trust and then once it has your trust then u are in need of help. What a shame that the boards are being created and sold. at all. I have my own experiance that led me to becomming almost obsessed with the board when I was maybe 12 or 13. it was as if something came over me,I became thirsty for it. one night I had a “break” – feeling as though my soul was in jeapordy. A lot of what happened 2 me was internal and I did lose touch with reality at times. But I kept saying the lords prayer over and over, crying my heart out for god to save me and protect me. I felt as tho I went through a battle. Very strange. Since that night, I feel protected by God but parts of me wonder and am afraid that something is lingering.
Ouija boards need to be banned. Children should not play with dark arts. Its truely terrifying. If a spirit or ghost of God wants 2 contact you, God will make it so. You don’t need to seek it out because u will seek out the wrong thing. Trust me. Millions of people can’t be wrong.
BAN OUIJA BOARDS – THEY ARE EVIL!
Selling a Ouija in a toy store is like handing a child a Satanic Bible. Ban them. Not just from toy stores, but from being sold anywhere. One of these instruments can be used to open up a portal from hell to our world, allowing demons to enter through. Sorry, but if I ever have children (I’m only 20), I certainly don’t want their demon best friends coming over for dinner. BAN THEM.
Just at this point, i’d like to thank all of you for adding your comments. You are great!!!
YES WE NEED TO BAN THEM THEIR NOT SAFE!!
yeah ban them… or as someone said restrict them… like cigarettes i suppose…government health warning… but preferably ban… though… i suppose always someone will be able to find one or make them…. but they definetly should not be sold to children as toys…!!!!!!!
I recently stumbled across some articles about ouija boards and I couldn’t stop reading about them. It really terrified me about what I read. One is even featured on the movie Pranormal Activity and no good came from that. When I heard that they were selling them in toy stores I refused to believe something so ridiculious. So, I went to the Toys-R-Us website and searched it. I was shocked when it showed a glow in the dark ouija board that includes 72 fun questions for only $20. Wow, all you need to ruin your life is $20 and Toys-R-Us. I pray to God that these horrible things are banned. I have never used one and never will (I’m 14).
Ouija boards should not be marketed to children. I know it would be impossible to make everyone stop using them, considering all you need is a piece of paper and a pen, but they certainly should not be sold in a toy store. If they are going to be sold, they need to have an age restriction put on them so children cannot buy them.
I do believe that some individuals have the power to control the entities that can be summoned by these boards, but that most of ignorant of how to do this, so they invite evil into their lives.
Protect children and the ignorant users. Remove Ouija boards from toy stores and put an age limit on them. It is the common sense thing to do.
–Blessed Be.
I agree with heather. God does not speak through the dead. The dead do not speak to us, as they are in a place prepared for them. God may speak through His Word, the Bible, literally through other persons still living if he chooses to do so…, we may expect Him to even speak to us or show us things in our dreams, and our loved ones may speak to us in our dreams.
In any event, Tarot Cards, Runes, crystal balls/scrying, Ouija Boards, and other sorts of objects used for divination is rejected by God. The only beings you will contact are NOT THE DEAD, rather lying demons, fallen angels, etc. God is forthright, just, honest, forgiving, merciful and healing…, try praying. I think the Bible even asked the question something like “what do the living hope to learn from the dead?” Try asking God to help direct your path in life.
Jesus said that He was come that we might have life, and life more abundantly. Evil spirits lie to us and speak through objects used for divination. The only person on the other end of the line is a demon pretending to be someone that has been asked for. Flatly, the Bible/God forbids practicing divination.
Ouija boards should have never been invented. They should all be destroyed. It’s crazy that the toy stores like Toyz-R-Us try to sell it like it’s just another toy
BAN THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree, Parker bros. are awful for making Ouija boards as toys omg what the hell were they thinking. I have a daughter and I’m scared for her sake she don’t touch anything like that. But yes it’s ok if ur over 18 I think and have a more matured mind than that of a child thru 17 years. But not when u have children in the house ,and make it a age restriction.
My wife Lorinda is right. DON’T mess with Ouija Boards… NO MATTER what age you are. Demons don’t discriminate! They are opportunists and wills strike anyone at anytime they deem vulnerable!
Thanks Stumpy, just removed no. 22
I strongly agree with what your saying. Not only toy stores, but if only these things would be banned EVERYWHERE and PERMANENTLY. These boards are poison and are definetly not toys, sell the kids knives instead of the boards, i promise theyll be safer….
Thanks Ronny and all the others, it’s amazing to me how many who have commented on this petition have such very strong views on the banning of these boards (including using home made ones which work just as well)…mainly due to experiencing them for themselves. I hope anyone who is intending using one, will understand that these comments are not written because we haven’t anything better to do, it is because we care that the younger ones especially, (who seem to be drawn more and more towards the paranormal these days) will think about the consequences.
I wouldn’t go anywhere near a ouija board ever again, and if i went anywhere where there were people using one, i would leave straight away…whatever comes through, lies to you, they are NOT your loved ones…you soon start to realise this as the game progresses…evil cannot keep up its ‘good’ act for long, and then often it is too late to do anything about it, you have let something in, which you may never get rid of. If you’re not bothered about yourself, think about your family, who also get affected too.
Oujia boards are not to be messed with. While we cant completely stop the use of them, stopping their sales in toy stores is the way to go.
iT SHOULD BE BANNED
look everyone these boards are not toys im only 12 but i know they’re dangerous i hope everyone never messes with one, my mom was young and played with one just leave them alone please, God would want u 2 also
Count me in too they are nothing to play with. I know alot about paranormal thing like this maybe more than the average 20 year old and I’m only 11 but I take it very seriously and have had experiences not with the ouiji board but with something else. Please don’t count me out because I’m under normal ages for being on a petition.
More than happy to count you in Samantha, do you mind me asking what has happened to you?
I bought a Oujia board parker Bros on ebay from the United States of America and I cannot get it to work.. I a wearing a Holy Cross perhaps thats stopping it from working or does it have to be used by 2 people. I don’t believe in it to be honest its a fairy tale.
BAN OUIJA BOARDS FOREVER!!!!!
I agree that the Ouija boards should be banned not just in toy stores but everywhere that they exist. It is too dangerous to fiddle around with those kind of things especially if a kid gets their hands on one. Same goes with any other age group, I say we should destory Ouija boards to avoid these consequences. So that we don’t have the choice to contact the dead and to avoid opening up any doors to hell.
Please ban these Ouija boards for everyones sake.
Lately I have been seeing this old HELL tool popping back up in movies, tv shows and now the net. The TV show “charmed” is promoting it, MTV recently had a show on Halloween with people using it as well. Im warning you now.. if you have one of these in your home destroy it as soon as possible, it’s nothing but a gateway for demons to take over your life and cause you grief in more area then you can imagine. Once you open such a gateway the spirits will prey upon you. This sin can let demonic ruler spirits into your life! If you have ever used a ouija or anything else such as automatic writing I urge you to repent and plead the Blood of Jesus on this sin right now!
I’ve not heard of that ‘hell tool’ before, what is it? This world is getting crazier by the minute, i don’t like the sound of it!
Ouija boards should NOT be sold in toy stores and be burned, its just a gateway for demons.
Agree! thanks Amy
