I’ve had experiences myself also. I was about 11 years old and i lived in a small, old house in the city. I lived right across the street from my school I went too. That house I lived in wasn’t so bad when we first moved in. Later on as the months passed I started feeling a presence in my mothers bedroom ( which was located downstaires beside mine) . I would watch t.v downstaires in her room while she was upstairs with the rest of the family. I would feel someone watching me and sometimes i’d feel somthing touch me lighty. I dont know if it was demonic or a ghost, I just rememeber being really terrified going down the stairs. The light also downstairs would flicker on and off alot and my mother would say it was just like that. But I always thought something. Something scary was down there, waiting for me to come. One night, my family was all sleeping and we heard something glide across the floor upstaires… My step-dad went to see what it was and the dining room chair was in the middle of the floor. Now friends and family members don’t believe me. They say im hallucentating but I know im not, Im 13 years old and Im not lying. I know what happened and i just never really told anyone… My mother also told me when I was a baby, id always say.. ” Mommy, the man in the black is here.” Annd ive been told i have a gift of feeling and seeing things… I just dont know if thats true.

It is just one of those things. You can live in 1-2 dozen homes (28 for me), and there will be one, maybe two that have that dark mojo. There is no explanation. it is face vale-what it is.

When I was 7 years old I experienced some sort of paranormal incident.
First just a little back ground. I had four brothers and my Mom had remarried and we moved quite a bit, five different cities and .12 different schools by the 9th grade. Not complaining but it’s relevant to my story.
So, 2nd grade Janesville WI. we lived in an old house in an old area, nondescript except for a Barn shaped roof.
This house out of all the houses we lived in (12 in all that we lived in as a family), was the only house that any of us had any thing happen or had any weird feelings in. We didn’t talk to each other about this for years either so I didn’t know that others in the family had experiences.
There were places in the house that I was terrified to go, a small out of use bath upstairs. My brother couldn’t go near a closet upstairs. For My Mom it was a closet downstairs that was directly beneath the bath that I was afraid of.
One winter evening after taking the dog out I was coming in the back door, the rest of the family was in the front of the house watching TV. The stairs were by the back foyer and it was dark upstairs. For what ever reason I looked up at the darkness at the top of the stairs, not sure why because I was afraid of the dark. Something began to pull me up the stairs, I had to grab the bannister to keep from being drawn upstairs. It released me, couldn’t have been more than a few seconds and I ran into the front where everybody else was and sat down. My mom asked me what was wrong, and being scared and not understanding what was going on, I just said nothing.
As adults, one day I told my brother what happened and he told me a story of his own.
He was sent to bed one day as a punishment, He was lying there in bed and something sat on his chest and was pushing him down into his bed. This was daylight mind you. He said this happened to him on three different occasions. Never before or since has anything like this to any of us. My Mom has also told stories of having some strange terrifying feelings in that house.
There’s my story, It was not a dream, I remember too many details and I remember dreams as dreams from when I was a child.

My older sister…she’s the best thing in my life. Growing up we did everything together. She sorta raised me. She was like a bubble of sunshine, but as the years went on she changed dramtically, yet not spontaneously. She’s abusive, violent, things in those nature. I’d hate to jump to conclusions, but maybe there’s an entity attached to her, a demon.

Many unexplainable things have occurred, missing money &clothing, weird growling noises, shadows of some sort, knocking noises, but no source of the noise is found. I’m not saying there is or is not an entity attached to my sister,but who knows. She’s been in a mental hospital and what was known as demonic possession is now covered up by some kind of mental illness. My sister, is the only thing i have, if i lose her i’ll be lost. She’s not herself, so its as if i already lost her.

The only thing that has happined to me is that when i was younger, i once saw a lady, with short red hair and she looked thin (almost anorexic thin (sorry if u r)) and she just watched us (my family.) Thats all i remember because i was young. When my father was a kid he saw a lady in the barn and she glowed, and the only reason he knows this is because the light didnt work and it was early in the morning, before sunrise. And my grandma owned (and still does sorta) the Counterfeit House. She says she had a lot of ghosts there. Creepy.

Rose, you’re doing the right thing by believing your son, that must be a great comfort for him. I have a couple of cyber friends, who i’ve got to know well over the years and they are very decent and credible people. No nonsense sorts, and they have seen shadow people all their lives…your son is not alone in this. His attitude is admirable and hopefully these visitations will wane over the years. I ignored a certain period in my life when i seemed to be becoming more open to the paranormal. I shut it out and got rid of all my books on the paranormal. I prayed to God for nothing more to happen and it’s been 10 or more yrs now since anything has happened. Good Luck to him and continue being there for him and believe him when he needs you.

My son is 23 now and still gets the creeps when he thinks of the shadow people (thats what he calls them) He says that if he speaks of them until this day they will appear around the house peeking into a room he is in. Thus he will not even talk of them. My son is a college grad, wks as a job engineer and is waiting to get into the police deptmnt. He is not a story teller nor is he nuts, on drugs etc. . He just never understood what they were , what they wanted or why he could see them and we did not . He does not want any part of them or whatever they stand for. He does kind of know things, even prior to them happening so I think that is why he see’s them. He has that gift (although he hates it) He says its a curse not a gift. The shadow people exist and I for one NEVER doubted my son.
