Contacting The Dead Is Wrong?
"Well, you should not tell ghost stories. They summon the spirits close. They can hear us, you know. If you want that I can tell you plenty of ways to do so. But once summoned, they will never leave you alone!"

RE: Contacting The Dead Is Wrong?
eyepriestess,

The pictures are like no place I have ever been. I think Tennessee and parts of southern Kentucky are beautiful in the Autumn. But your pictures show that the people who live there really love the land, and have spent great energy to make it pleasing just to see it, even if it is only a picture.

If our whole planet were this beautiful, I'm not sure I could imagine anything better in Heaven, save God Himself. Maybe that is what the earth looked like at one time. Big Grin

RE: Contacting The Dead Is Wrong?
Hi Greg, these pics were sent in by Andrew (user id 'batsinthebelfry) and they do show that part of England in it's full splendour...shame about the guy stood beside the car spoiling it though...Big Grin...j/k Andrew lol

Dartmoor is another of my favourite places in the UK, it is full of mystique and is also misty most of the time, so it's quite frightening too, but it has a beauty all of its own and a way of drawing you in. In fact, one of the pics above, with the mist, looks like Dartmoor, is it?

Thanks for the pics Andrew, you are very good with the camera. Now i must go and ring BT for the security code, so i can get my pics on Lucy's laptop.

RE: Contacting The Dead Is Wrong?
I love them all and a few I have saved, hope that is ok. My absolute favorite is the oak(?) with the cottage, it is now my wallpaper.

RE: Contacting The Dead Is Wrong?
Hello everyone, thank you Greg for your kind words. The pictures are of places all quite close to where i live, the Cotswold's and the New Forest. I enjoy going for drives and i do think i am lucky to be close to such beautiful scenery. The Cotswolds are an unique area of the UK with the Cotswold stone cottages and little rivers running through a lot of them. Very tranquil and peaceful, once you get away from the tourists lol...I have been to Tennessee and yes all the trees in the New Forest can look a little like the Smokey mountains with all the trees in wonderful colour, only no mountains! I have not been to Kentucky though Greg.
And thanks Pitch im glad you liked them, i didn't think EP would leave them on so long lol....thank you very much EP for your comment i'll remember that!! Tongue No the misty picture is not Dartmoor although i agree it easily could be. Parts of the New Forest are heath land just like Dartmoor.

RE: Contacting The Dead Is Wrong?
I can't put my painting i sent you via email on here because Lucy is on her laptop, i can only put it on photobucket from there and then put it in here. If you get chance Andrew, would you put it on here for me? On this computer i cannot even copy the pic as i cant open the attachment Lucy sent me with the pic on, it's really about to stop working any day this thing.
