My mum is only in contact with 2 of her 5 children, and I am the only one who would bother getting her anything for mothers day or birthday etc.

My siblings seriously disappoint me sometimes, they are horrible people but luckily I'm not (lol) so I decided to buy her four other presents on behalf of the other siblings.

1st Sibling: Craft stuff (my mum does crafts)
2nd Sibling: Music CDs (my mum loves listening to music when crafting)
3rd Sibling: A book on sociology (she is doing a degree in sociology)
4th sibling: two grandmother frames for her to put pictures of her and her grandchildren in
5th sibling: a perfume bottle (she collects them)

She loved all the gifts and I am pooped from all the shopping, but it was worth it, I believe women should be made to feel special.

So why am i still single haha??

I find it a sad thing to know that a child could be so seperated from a parent in such a fashion. I won't ask, but I speculate that some events has established a wall between them.

One of the commandments is to honor your parents that their days will be long upon the Earth. You are a good son! You are considering your mothers feeling above that of giving the impression that the other children care for her as you do. We all need that love and as a mother of two living sons, I prized their devotion and I will say I get it.

I havent been on here for afew days, i have been so busy with relatives coming round and us getting a cold again....lucy and I.

That is what you got her Harry? or thought of getting her?

That saying honour thy father and thy mother, but sometimes that is hard for children. I often wonder about that saying when the father is a peadophile...what then?

Well my mum didn't cry, but she was really chuffed with everything I got her, I really think she understood the importance of the gifts I got her, I can make up for the other siblings horrible natures by being a good one and rising above it.

What did Kelly and Lucy get you EP?

I went into college and Jack and James bought themselves things but no there mothers, I was appaled to say the least, it's not just my mums kids who can be selfish.

James is 19 I will add.

Mine got me cards. If Lucy had got me something, i would have had to buy it ha ha. Kelly is always skint...gets paid and then the week after she is broke She said, mum i'll get you something when i get paid, i said, don't worry just a card will do.

What you did for your mum, she will remember forever!
